Problem
Business Challenge
The company encountered issues with outdated software, resulting in higher maintenance costs and unexpected expenses. The software's complexity and vast amount of data contributed to a steep learning curve, making onboarding new employees costly and inefficient. Additionally, poor user experience (UX) led to frequent errors among users, further contributing to unexpected costs.
User Challenge
The steep learning curve for new users increases the likelihood of errors. Mental frustration arises from a poor software experience, leading to additional time wasted while navigating the app.

Solution
I worked on this project as part of the Povio design team, closely collaborating with the lead UX designer. Together, we engaged closely with clients and engineers in the energy management domain, collecting feedback through user interviews and continuously receiving input throughout the entire design cycle.
All improvements and design decisions were driven by real user feedback. The entire UI was designed as white-labeled software, ensuring easy customization through the Angular Material framework.
